Junior Designer

Bonfire Labs has been in business for 25 years and currently has 22 full‐time employees. We are artists, producers, directors, and technologists who collaborate to create powerful content across all media platforms. We are design‐focused and we like to build the stuff we come up with. Perhaps most importantly, creativity should be demonstrated in everything we do, not just the work we do for clients, but how we work, how we think, and how we run our business.


ROLE: Junior Designer  

We are looking for a new member of our team that will support our diverse creative team. We hope this person will grow and learn within the role while teaching us a few things along the way. We produce a variety of work with a great list of clients so we need someone with a unique but adaptable style that is paired with great technical proficiency. Along with design responsibilities this position will be called upon to ideate in early stages of projects as well. An eye for motion design as well as graphic design is a significant plus.



Strong design portfolio or reel with a demonstrated diversity of styles

Adobe Creative Cloud wizard

Strong typography & layout skills

Strong attention to detail



Nice to have:

After Effects knowledge

Light 3D skills


UI / UX design

Sketch experience

HTML5 / CSS knowledge



This position is contract to full time and based in our studio in downtown San Francisco.
